How I think

Most designers open Figma and start with the interface. I start with the users and the organisation: who makes the decisions, where the friction is, what the constraints are, and what will actually get built.

I focus on AI-driven B2B SaaS, enterprise tools and mobile products — the kind of complex systems where good UX has real impact and bad UX has real consequences.

My background in graphic design and people operations shapes how I work: visual craft, systems thinking, and a deep understanding of how organisations actually run.

How I work · methodology

From research to shipped product.

A look at how I approach a project end-to-end. The same 4 phases I bring to every team — adapted to your sprint cadence, design system and stack.

1 · DiscoverPhase 1
Kick-off & alignment

Product goals, user assumptions, tech constraints. I read the brief and challenge it.

Outputbrief
Heuristic audit

Current surface, key flows, existing design system — what's broken and what's worth keeping.

Outputfindings
Stakeholder map

Who decides, who builds, who's blocked. Where the friction lives before design starts.

OutputFigJam board
2 · DefinePhase 2
User research

Interviews, surveys or analytics — synthesised into patterns, not just quotes.

Outputinsights
IA & user flows

Where every screen lives, what it does, how users move. Architecture before pixels.

Outputsitemap · flows
Hypotheses & metrics

What we're testing, what success looks like, how we'll know it worked.

Outputspec
3 · DesignPhase 3
Wireframes

Low-fi to validate logic and IA. No pixels until the structure holds.

OutputFigma
Hi-fi UI

Production-ready screens — tokens, components, states, motion. Built to hand off.

Outputdesign system
Usability testing

Maze or moderated. Iterate on what users actually do, not what they say they'd do.

Outputtest report
4 · ShipPhase 4
Dev handoff

Specs, motion, edge cases. I pair with engineers — not hand off and disappear.

Outputhandoff doc
QA & polish

Review staging until it matches Figma. No drift, no negotiated corners.

OutputQA log
Post-launch review

What the metrics say. What to keep, what to cut, what ships in the next cycle.

Outputretrospective
Embedded, not external I work inside your rhythm — async by default, sync when it moves things forward
Paired with PMs & engineers Design decisions happen in the open — no black box, no surprises at handoff
Trade-offs on the table early Scope, constraints, risks — named before they become problems
Decisions documented In Figma, Notion, or wherever your team already lives — not in my inbox
Tools that fit your stack Figma · Maze · Cursor · Claude — I bring what works, and drop what doesn't
End-to-end ownership Research through dev handoff — one person accountable for the full arc full cycle
Systems thinking Graphic design + people-ops background — I design the logic, not just the screen org design
Regulated domains Compliance, HR, legal — complex constraints translated into usable products complex UX
AI/LLM UX patterns Making model behaviour visible, predictable, trustworthy — not just functional AI-native
HTML/CSS literate I can read what engineers ship — and catch the drift before it becomes debt dev-adjacent
